The Financial Analysis team maintains the budgets for over sixty projects managed by Air Force Research Laboratory Program/Project Managers. They work closely within their organizations with the PMs and organizations' functional managers to forecast, plan and monitor the projects and schedules to assure not only that there are enough funds but the funds are being expended according to the plan and if necessary implement correction actions to keep the projects on track.
The team is responsible for collaborating with the local financial management team and Edwards Air Force Base procurement specialists to procure and acquire all organization and program/project needs. The team is also considered resource advisors who assist the PMs on updating and reporting their progress on each program/project. |
