The functional area involves the use of models, including emulators, prototypes, simulators, and stimulators, either statically or over time, to develop data as a basis for making managerial, technical, strategic, or tactical decisions. QI-Solutions, developed an interactive graphical displays tool with associated software listings for programs such as but not limited to Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile (ESSM) – PCM Telemetry and Video Doppler, Standard Missile (SM) – PCM Telemetry and Video Doppler, Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) – PCM Telemetry, Target Acquisition System (TAS) Data, RAM Launcher Data, SEAT and Rearchitectured NATO Seasparrow Surface Missile System (RNSSMS), and Weapon Fire Control System (FCS). This data extraction, reduction, and analysis support tool for NSWC Corona resolved system integration problems for Integrated Ship Defense (ISD) projects. Support includes analysis efforts in extracting and reducing various types of raw weapons system data collected during system integration testing and missile firing exercises using real data to simulate missiles in flight. The tool allows multiple views not supported in existing specialized commercial off the shelf products that monitor data analysis planning efforts, development, and review providing inputs to all data management and analysis plans. We participate in all test events, Data Analysis Team (DAT), Analysis Control Boards (ACB), and Data Analysis Working Groups (DAWG). Additionally, another of our team member supported Aegis Training Readiness Center (ATRC) in the design and development of simulation capability enhancements within the ATRC laboratories to support training events for Prospective Commanding Officers, Executive Officers and Department Head students. Capability allows cross-connection of Aegis baseline variants available at ATRC for Force level training events. Inherent simulation capability allows use of a single scenario generation source to stimulate multiple labs with the ATRC for ground truth track data, CEC, voice, and Tactical Data Link (TDL).
